Originally from San Antonio, Texas joined the Air Force signed up in September 1973. Active duty January 23, 1974 thru January 1979. Joined Air Foce Reserve and Air National Guard for 12 years.  Primary job title assigned as an Environmental Technician specialty T-43 Aircraft (aircraft mechanic) later cross trained into Air Force Police career field.  Served at Lackland AFB, San Antonio Texas, Chanute Air Force Base, Ill., Mather Air Force Base, California, Kadena AB, Okinawa Japan, Naha AB, Okinawa, Japan.  Traveled to Guam, Phillipines, Taiwan, Panama, Uruguay Paragguay.  Germany, Amsterdam and France as well as family homeland Mexico.
Retired from Dept of Veterans Affairs Regional Office in Houston Texas as a Veterans Benefits Counselor, Adjudicator and the first Mexican American female to be assigned as Women Veterans Representative. which entailed organizing conferences in Texas at sites such as McAllen, San Antonio, Houston and Corpus Christi. Past Vice Pres of LULAC 4729, American Legion Service Officer, Women In Military Memorial at Arlington Republican Women Group.
